Nanoscale analysis uncovers method to prevent dental erosion from carbonated drinks

This protective layer reduces the direct contact between the enamel and the acidic drink, thereby preventing or reducing the dissolution of the enamel. The findings could lead to new dental care products or modifications in beverage formulations to protect dental health.
