  • Fuddruckers, the burger chain that almost went out of business during the pandemic, made its return to D.C.'s Chinatown this week.

Fuddruckers has made a comeback in Washington D.C.'s Chinatown, thanks to local entrepreneur Arif Khan, who has taken over the franchise. The restaurant, known for its build-your-own burgers, closed its previous location in Chinatown in 2019 but has now reopened at 600 H St. NW. Khan, who also owns other local franchises like Dunkin' and Popeyes, aims to bring back the community feel and quality food that Fuddruckers is known for. The new location features a modern design while maintaining the classic Fuddruckers experience, including freshly baked buns and a variety of toppings. The return of Fuddruckers is seen as a positive sign for the revitalization of Chinatown, offering residents and visitors a familiar dining option in the area.
