LAS VEGAS, April 21, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- [ THE Aesthetic Show ]™ will host the inaugural [ Aesthetic Awards ]™. This black-tie gala will take place at the ARIA Hotel in Las Vegas on June 4 as part of the annual three-day conference. THE Aesthetic Show™, which runs from June 3 to 5, is the leading aesthetic medicine convention, bringing together top experts from all disciplines of the field. The Aesthetic Awards™ is the first ever awards event of its kind, honoring the finest achievements in all areas of aesthetic medicine (surgical and non-surgical).

Aesthetic physicians who are attendees or faculty members of THE Aesthetic Show™ are invited to submit before and after photographs of their best procedures, along with a brief description, in order to be considered for the awards. Winners will be decided by vote; their peers at THE Aesthetic Show™ will comprise the voter base. To be considered, physicians can submit their entries [ online ] by May 1, 2011. Potential contestants may submit entries for multiple categories where appropriate.

*The Best Overall Patient Outcome Award will be decided onsite by a specially selected panel of judges the night of the ceremony. This panel will be comprised of Hollywood's top aesthetic practitioners and key members of the aesthetic media including Alexander Rivkin, M.D., Mark Berman, M.D., F.A.C.S., Jason Diamond, M.D., F.A.C.S., Will Kirby, D.O., F.A.O.C.D., and David Matlock, M.D., M.B.A., F.A.C.O.G.
