"Being on the ice is an amazing feeling that's nearly indescribable," said Gabryszak. "It's like no other sport. If you've ever wanted to fly like my favorite Muppet—Super Grover —skeleton is the closest you'll ever come!"
Gabryszak is one of over 600 Olympic and professional athletes who follow a USANA nutritional regimen, including members of the U.S. Ski and Snowboarding teams and the U.S. Speedskating team, among others. These athletes, also referred to as members of Team USANA, supplement healthy diets and strict training routines with NSF and HFL-certified USANA products.
"We're incredibly lucky to have Kimber representing Team USANA during this crucial time in her career and in the upcoming World Cup season," said USANA VP of Marketing, Public Relations, and Social Media, Dan Macuga. "We're excited to see how she progresses throughout the season and are ready to provide her whatever nutritional support she needs to be at the top of her game."
"Learning about USANA's high quality products, signing up for the Athlete Guarantee, and visiting their impressive facility are what make me feel safe and confident in using USANA products," Gabryszak said.
The World Cup season starts in Austria on December 2nd, and the U.S. Skeleton team leaves on tour at the end of November.
"Team trials were definitely stressful," said Kimber. "I had a brand new sled, and its technology was so different from my old sled that the transition was difficult. Imagine driving a car and then trying to fly a helicopter—it's like that. The first races weren't ideal, but finally the sled and I began to work together as one and I made the World Cup team on the last run of the fourth race! Now I get to spend the season competing with the world's best athletes."
