Teleflex Introduces New ARROW®; SureBlock®; Spinal Anesthesia Collection

LIMERICK, Pa.--([ ])--Teleflex Incorporated (NYSE:TFX) today announced the launch of its new ARROW SureBlock Spinal Anesthesia Collection. This follows closely after the recent launch of the Companyas new ARROW FlexTip Plus Multi-Port epidural catheter.

The SureBlock Collection includes spinal anesthesia full medication kits, safety kits, and intermediate and basic sets, all featuring the Sprotte spinal needle, which has been clinically proven to minimize the incidence of postdural puncture headaches.(1,2) The SureBlock Collection also includes individually packaged sterile Sprotte needles in a wide range of gauges and lengths to provide more flexibility for the anesthesia provider.

Teleflex released a limited spinal anesthesia offering under the ARROW SureBlock brand in 2009 a" now this offering has been enhanced and expanded based on extensive feedback from clinicians. The SureBlock Collection of kits and sets will now include a glass barrel syringe to further aid in the fast, positive identification of the spinal space. These kits and sets also are now available with more drug combinations to complete the spinal anesthesia portfolio.
