WILMINGTON, Mass.--([ ])--Charles River Laboratories, Inc. (NYSE: CRL) today announced the opening of its new biomedical diagnostic testing facility in Wilmington, Massachusetts. The state-of-the-art, 60,000-square-foot R&D services facility expands the Companyas diagnostic capabilities for research model health monitoring, clinical chemistry, hematology, biomarker assay development and immunoassay services. The new facility offers high-functioning, controlled environments, building monitoring and mechanical systems redundancy, as well as energy reduction through occupancy sensor-driven air distribution and lighting.
