TEL AVIV, ISRAEL--(Marketwire - July 9, 2009) - IDO Security, Inc. (OTCBB: [ IDOI ]) ([ www.idosecurityinc.com ]), developer of the innovative [ MagShoe ]™ "shoes-on" weapons metal detection system, today announced the availability of the Network Management Control System (NMC-3), enabling secure, centralized management of multiple MagShoe devices across one or more facilities. By offering an added level of control and oversight, NMC-3 streamlines [ security monitoring ] and increases efficiency for MagShoe installations at busy, high-security venues around the world, including airports, prisons, sporting venues and more.

The NMC-3 system remotely manages up to 300 MagShoe devices simultaneously from a single site via a secure Ethernet connection, while still allowing each device to be operated individually. This provides an accurate and up-to-date view of the entire system state, offering immediate status and oversight relating activity on all installed units, as well as personnel and usage statistics. NMC-3 collects measurement information across the network and stores it in a central database, offering a range of data analysis tools for users to evaluate unit performance over a given time period, up to a full year. The resulting reports can be exported in Microsoft Excel-compatible format for simple viewing and assessment.

NMC-3 also offers secure remote control capabilities, providing authorized users with direct access to any devices connected to the network -- so they can monitor ongoing security checks in real-time, configure unit parameters, adjust operator access permissions and more. Access to the NMC-3 application is fully password-protected, with the ability to customize user access rights to suit specific security roles and tasks, ranging from full supervision and management capabilities to view-only access.

"NMC-3 takes the capabilities of the MagShoe device to the next level, providing a powerful tool for complex, multi-level and multi-building facilities to easily and centrally manage their security operations," said Henry Shabat, General Manager, IDO Limited. "We are proud to continue introducing new innovations like the NMC-3 system, as part of our commitment to helping our clients around the world deliver the highest levels of security."

Installed at high-security locations around the world, the MagShoe offers a patented screening device for the shoes and lower body that fills a critical void in the security and loss prevention markets by scanning the lower extremities -- an area that until now has not been effectively addressed by traditional walkthrough and handheld metal detectors. To increase user comfort and convenience, MagShoe also provides highly accurate security screening from the ankles to the feet, without requiring the removal of shoes. The portable, user-friendly device improves accuracy, reduces wait times and provides clear, immediate results.
