OREM, UT--(Marketwire - July 28, 2009) - New emission regulations force refrigerated truck drivers to find answers to high emission diesel cooling -- Reflect Scientific, Inc. (
Reflect Scientific's new technology recently introduced the Cyrometrix® CB-40, a zero emissions refrigeration system for the trucking industry. "Response was very favorable and we are extremely busy following up with frustrated trucking firms from across the country," remarked Kim Boyce, President and CEO of Reflect Scientific.
Most trucking companies visiting the Reflect Scientific booth were searching for answers to comply with the flood of new emission regulations being imposed by the California Air Resources Board.
"They're setting stricter standards that are expected to impact truckers nationwide," Boyce said. "And with an estimated 350,000 refrigerated trucks in operation in the United States alone, this represents a huge business opportunity for our company," Mr. Boyce maintained.
"Truckers are looking for a solution to comply with the newly mandated pollution regulations and the CB-40 provides the right answer at the right time," Boyce continued.
The new technology is set to replace the current, out-dated diesel-powered refrigeration systems. "Beyond the zero-emissions factor, the CB-40 has virtually no moving parts, requires almost no maintenance, and it operates essentially noise free -- a real plus for truckers," Mr. Boyce concluded.
