DIAGNOS Inc.: Typhon Will Use CARDS 3D Prediction Services on the Fayolle Property
BROSSARD, QUEBEC, CANADA--(Marketwire - Dec. 8, 2009) - DIAGNOS inc. ("DIAGNOS" or "the Corporation") (TSX VENTURE:ADK), a leader in the use of artificial intelligence and advanced knowledge extraction techniques, announced today that CARDS 3D (3D Computer Aided Resources Detection System) prediction technology will be used on the Fayolle property (23.14 km2) which is host to several gold showings and the Fayolle deposit located on the prolific Porcupine-Destor break, the property is 100% owned by Typhon Exploration (" Typhon) ") (TSX Venture : TYP). The Fayolle deposit contains indicated resources of 848,600 tonnes at 1.4 g/t Au and inferred resources of 6,568,600 tonnes at 0.7 g/t Au (Press Releases January 19th and February 21st, 2007). These resources are NI 43-101 compliant.
DIAGNOS will use the compiled geoscientific 3D data (Press release of Typhon dated November 23rd, 2009) in order to allow a better understanding of the deposit as well as to identify pertinent anomalous zones near and around the Fayolle deposit and other occurrences (McDonald, Vang, Junior, Quebelle and Destorbelle) including the Aiguebelle-Goldfields occurrence (Agnico-Eagle option). This new development is designed to efficiently provide organizations with enhanced targeting capabilities simplifying deployment of its resources.
Benefits:
- Open platform: CARDS 3D services can be applied using most 3D or GIS systems used in the mining industry.
- Data driven methodology: Objective targeting using complex algorithms providing an unbiased geologic, statistic and stochastic approach.
- Time and money saver: New tool that allows geologists and geoscientists to optimize available data and identify probable targets in a 3D environment in a timely manner.
