Vowles has given his seal of approval to a potential FIA presidential campaign from Sainz Sr, the father of his Williams driver

James Vowles, the team principal of Williams, has reached out to Carlos Sainz Sr. to discuss the possibility of his son, Carlos Sainz Jr., joining the Williams team for the 2025 Formula 1 season. Sainz Jr. is currently a free agent after being replaced by Lewis Hamilton at Ferrari. Vowles is keen on securing Sainz Jr.'s services, believing that the young driver could significantly contribute to the team's future success.
