  • In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, close to 200 community members came together in Hudson Saturday morning for a suicide prevention walk.

The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention held its annual Out of the Darkness Walk in Hudson, New Hampshire, as part of Mental Health Awareness Month. The event, which took place at Benson's Park, aimed to raise awareness and funds for suicide prevention, with participants walking to honor those lost to suicide and to support those struggling with mental health issues. The walk not only fosters a sense of community and hope but also emphasizes the importance of mental health resources and support systems. Organizers and participants stressed the significance of open conversations about mental health to reduce stigma and encourage those in need to seek help.
