  • The Kern County Public Health Department said it is continuing to bring its free "Know Your Numbers" program to various places throughout Kern County. The next stop is scheduled for Delano on Tuesday.

The Kern County Public Health Department is expanding its "Know Your Numbers" program to Delano, offering free health screenings to residents on September 23, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Delano Chamber of Commerce. This initiative aims to help individuals understand their health metrics such as blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol levels, and provides education on maintaining a healthy lifestyle. The program, which has been successful in other parts of the county, is part of a broader effort to address health disparities and improve community health outcomes.
