CARTA and TriCounty Link offer free rides for seniors on May 28

The Charleston Area Regional Transportation Authority and TriCounty Link are celebrating National Senior Health & Fitness Day by offering free rides to seniors
On May 28, 2023, seniors aged 65 and older can enjoy free rides on all CARTA and TriCounty Link fixed-route services in celebration of Older Americans Month. This initiative, aimed at promoting the mobility and independence of older adults, allows them to travel without charge across the service areas of these transit systems. The offer is part of a broader effort to recognize and support the senior community by providing them with accessible transportation options.
