ImmunoCellular Therapeutics, Ltd. Announces $8.1 Million Financing

LOS ANGELES--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--ImmunoCellular Therapeutics, Ltd. (aImmunoCellulara or the aCompanya) (OTCBB: IMUC), announced it has entered into securities purchase agreements with certain institutional and other investors in connection with a private placement financing. Upon the closing of the financing, ImmunoCellular will receive gross proceeds of approximately $8.1 million resulting from the sale of approximately 5.2 million units at a purchase price of $1.55 per unit. Each unit consists of one share of ImmunoCellulara™s common stock and one warrant to purchase one-half share of ImmunoCellulara™s common stock. The warrants will be exercisable for a five-year period and have an exercise price of $2.25 per share. The closing of the financing is subject to customary closing conditions. Proceeds from the private placement will be used to accelerate the development of ICT-107, the Companya™s dendritic cell-based brain cancer vaccine as well as for general corporate purposes. ICT-107 is currently in a Phase II trial.
