BRAINTREE, Mass., Aug. 29, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Haemonetics Corporation (NYSE: [ HAE ]) announced that Gerry Gould has joined Haemonetics effective today as Vice President, Investor Relations, reporting to CFO & Vice President Business Development, Chris Lindop.

Mr. Gould was formerly Vice President, Investor Relations at RSC Equipment Rental and previously was Vice President, Investor Relations for Stanley Works, now Stanley Black& Decker.

Gerry is a graduate of Leonard N. Stern Graduate Business School, New York University, New York, where he earned his Master's Degree in Accountancy.  Gerry also holds his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and French from St. Michael's College.  He is an active member of the National Investor Relations Institute ("NIRI") and the NIRI Senior Roundtable.
