The Marcia P. Coggs Health and Human Services Center in Milwaukee is set to open its new facility on June 12, 2023, located at the corner of North Phillips Avenue and West Cherry Street. This new center, which spans 120,000 square feet over four stories, will consolidate services previously spread across multiple locations, enhancing accessibility and efficiency. The facility will house various departments including the Milwaukee Health Department, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, and the Milwaukee County Department of Health and Human Services. Key features include a large community room, a fitness center, and a rooftop terrace. The center aims to provide comprehensive health and human services, focusing on improving the well-being of the community through integrated and accessible care.
