FRANKLIN, Tenn.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Community Health Systems, Inc. (NYSE:CYH) announced today that management will participate in the 27th Annual JPMorgan Healthcare Conference to be held January 12-15, 2009, at the Westin St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco.

The investor presentation by Wayne T. Smith, chairman, chief executive officer and president, will begin at 2:00 p.m. Pacific time (5:00 p.m. Eastern time) on Tuesday, January 13, 2009, and will be available to investors via a live audio webcast.
