Amedisys Welcomes Todd Roscoe as Vice President of Managed Care
BATON ROUGE, La.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Amedisys, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMED) one of America's leading home care and hospice companies, recently announced that Todd Roscoe will join the company as vice president of managed care.
In this new role, Mr. Roscoe oversees the companya™s managed care operations and contract negotiations. Other responsibilities include managing payer relationships and working closely with the companya™s operational leaders.
Mr. Roscoe has more than two decades of experience managing multi-million dollar managed care contract negotiations. He previously served as chief managed care officer for Healthplace America, where he focused on developing and overseeing managed care operations and provider network development.
Prior to Healthplace America, he worked for Tenet Healthcare as vice president of managed care operations where he oversaw a national portfolio of 3,500 managed care contracts generating $4.4 billion in net revenues. Mr. Roscoe has performed similar duties for Allied Physicians, National Medical Enterprises and CIGNA Health Plan.
Mr. Roscoe holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, Finance and Quantitative Analysis from the University of Cincinnati and an Executive Masters degree in Business Administration from Kennesaw State University, Georgia.
