Electromed, Inc. Presents Distinguished Service Award to Jerry Cahill

Electromed, Inc. created this award to recognize people in the community who have gone above and beyond to improve the lives of individuals with airway clearance conditions. Jerry was specifically recognized for his advocacy for and practical support of CF families.

Jerry, who lives with CF himself, has been a devoted volunteer for the Boomer Esiason Foundation (BEF) since 2004, playing an integral role in all of its efforts within the CF community. Jerry leads the BEF scholarship and transplant grant programs, as well as hosts a podcast series and the CF Wind Sprint video series. Under his direction, the Foundation launched the Exercise For Life Scholarship and Team Boomer-Fighting Cystic Fibrosis athletic program. He is living, breathing proof that people living with CF can have a fulfilling life.
