CardioComm Solutions, Inc. Issues Stock Options

VICTORIA, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Oct. 20, 2011) - CardioComm Solutions, Inc. (TSX VENTURE:EKG) ("CardioComm" or the "Company") today announced that it has granted 100,000 incentive stock options to Mr. Simi Grosman, an independent member of the Company's board of directors. The options are exercisable at $0.10 per share for five years from the date of grant, vest equally over 18 months at the end of each three month period from the date of grant and are subject to a four month hold period. The grant of options is subject to the provisions of the Company's Omnibus Share Compensation Plan, the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange and applicable securities laws.

Mr. Grosman is participating as a member of CardioComm's C4 management team, which is a cardiac monitoring service provided to patients for remote and telemedicine based in-home ECG and arrhythmia reporting. "We value Mr. Grosman's contributions as we continue to expand C4 subscription in Ontario and look to expansion into the USA and overseas," said Etienne Grima, CardioComm's CEO.

CardioComm also previously announced a transaction with MD Primer Inc. ("MDP") for the purchase of hardware and software by CardioComm from MDP. The transaction has been postponed, and the Company will provide a further update if there are changes to the status of the transaction.
