(NASDAQ: AMAG), a biopharmaceutical company focused on the development and commercialization of a therapeutic compound to treat iron deficiency anemia, today announced that it will report unaudited consolidated financial results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2011 after the U.S. financial markets close on November 7, 2011. The announcement will be followed by a conference call and webcast at 5:00 p.m. ET, during which management will discuss the companyas financial results, commercial progress, development programs and the Companyas expense realignment plans as previously announced on October 21, 2011.
