Youth Mental Health First Aid Training, designed to equip community members - parents, teachers, coaches, and concerned citizens - with the skills to recognize the signs of mental health struggles in young people and offer initial support. This program aims to break down barriers to communication and encourage early intervention, which is often critical in improving outcomes.

Recognizing the need for immediate assistance in crisis situations, MCPH is also expanding its Mobile Crisis Response Team. This team will consist of trained mental health professionals capable of responding to mental health emergencies in the community, providing on-site support and de-escalation services. Beyond immediate crisis intervention, MCPH is investing in preventative measures.
