Year to date net sales increased 13% compared to 2007. According the Kami Howard, CFO, "These numbers reflect a significant shift in the momentum of the company and the trend continues positive into the fourth quarter."
According to Vaughn R Cook, CEO, ZYTO has focused its energy during the last several months on sales and marketing. During the first part of 2008 ZYTO moved from inside salaried sales personnel to outside independent sales representatives and distributors. According to Cook, "This change in structure has provided a more stable and expansive penetration of the marketplace globally."
This new sales structure allows ZYTO to expand into new markets more rapidly without significant increases in fixed costs. Momentum is building and management is optimistic that this trend of profitable growth will continue into the foreseeable future.
In addition to a sharper sales focus, overhead has been cut substantially and development schedules have been adjusted to maximize sales of existing products.
