Healthways to Report Earnings for Three Months Ended November 30, 2008 and Host Conference Call after Market Close on January 8

(NASDAQ: HWAY) today announced that its financial results for the three months ended November 30, 2008, will be released after market close on Thursday, January 8, 2009, followed the same day by a conference call and live webcast scheduled for 5:00 p.m. ET. This schedule is consistent with Healthways' previously announced decision to change its fiscal year end to December 31^st from its current fiscal year end of August 31^st, beginning with calendar 2009.
