Thu, June 18, 2009 IDenta Corp.: International Drug & Explosives Detection Firm IDenta Corp. Releases Recent Sales Activity
JERUSALEM--(Marketwire - June 18, 2009) - IDenta Corp. (
CEO Yaacov Shoham states, "Recent sales of Identa products have been very good and have been accelerating at a very brisk pace as the kits become known throughout the world. We are very happy with the results and are taking steps to ensure we will be able to meet the demand."
Recent activity since May 1st includes:
1. Germany - A workshop was held in June by chief scientist Baruch Glattstein in front of different national agencies in Cologne.
"We have already received orders for explosive detectors, and are also expecting orders for drug detectors and precursors.
"This is a very important market, possibly the largest market in Europe and we expect to do very well in this market.
"The connections were started through a local, well established company a year ago," stated Shoham.
2. Turkey - Last week the chief Scientist and the CEO traveled to Ankara to give a workshop to two agencies: Customs and a special national police agency.
"The immediate result was that we won a tender for the special agency and expect to receive orders from Customs also.
"In a short time we will return to Turkey to give a workshop for the other agencies also: Jandameria, Police and Coast Guard. We have a very strong professional representative company in Turkey," stated Shoham.
3. Argentina - IDenta received an order from the police, and are waiting for another order from an anti-drug national agency. Argentina has been a long time Identa customer.
"We are trying to enlarge our presence to other agencies and also in the retail market with the new General Screening Drug Test Kit," stated Shoham.
4. A first order from Vietnam for explosive detectors.
5. Portugal - At the beginning of May, Baruch gave a training session for one of the national police agencies (already using our kits), and presented the new General Screening for a large drug store chain.
Orders from two different agencies are expected in the next couple of weeks.
6. India - "Since our first visit last January we have received several orders including orders in May," stated Shoham.
The local representative company is a very effective one with large connections and is currently in the initial stages of introducing the General Screening Kit in the retail-consumer market.
Mr. Shoham also states, "Our representatives around the world have been doing an excellent job of making our kits well known and securing orders in many different countries."
