Dynatronics Introduces New SolarisPlus Line of Therapy Products

[ ]

SALT LAKE CITY, Sept. 21, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Dynatronics Corporation (NASDAQ: [ DYNT ]) today announced the introduction of its new Dynatron Solaris®Plus product line – the culmination of a three-year research and development initiative. The SolarisPlus product line consists of four separate units: the SolarisPlus 709, 708, 706, and 705. These innovative devices are capable of providing seven waveforms of electrotherapy, together with the company's patented three frequency ultrasound therapy and light therapy, through a newly designed, Tri-wave light probe and two light pads.

"We believe the Dynatron SolarisPlus units represent the most advanced devices of their kind in the marketplace," said Kelvyn H. Cullimore Jr., chairman and president of Dynatronics. "They are our flagship products and represent the most powerful and versatile units available today for our practitioners and their patients. Our investment in research and development is beginning to pay off and will support our role as a market leader in advancing equipment that provides novel solutions."

The new, revolutionary Tri-wave light technology consists of red, infrared and blue-wavelength light delivered using two proprietary light pads for treating larger areas of the body or a light probe for treating smaller areas. "The new Tri-wave light probes and pads are significantly more powerful than predecessor devices and provide a greater degree of flexibility in patient treatments," reported Larry K. Beardall, executive vice president of sales and marketing. "In fact, they are capable of delivering seven different combinations of light therapy wavelengths, allowing practitioners to select the optimal treatment for their patients."

The SolarisPlus units can be mounted on a new customized cart for transporting the units easily between treatment stations at the clinic. The new cart will be available in October 2012."

"This new line of products represents the most comprehensive redesign project in our history and updates the Solaris line of products introduced in 2003," added Beardall. "We expect that these new products will stimulate higher sales of capital equipment that has been stagnant due to difficult worldwide economic conditions."
