TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Jan. 14, 2009) - Constellation Software Inc. ("Constellation") (TSX:CSU) announced today that it has completed, through its wholly-owned subsidiary N. Harris Computer Corporation ("Harris"), the acquisition of Global Software Corporation ("Global"). Global is a leading provider of law enforcement records management (RMS), computer aided dispatch (CAD) and jail management (JMS) software solutions to the public safety market.

Harris CEO Jeff Bender stated, "We are pleased to add Global Software to the Harris family of solutions. We will continue to build on Global's strong, well established customer base and flagship product line."

Global President Phil Sisk stated, "We are very pleased to announce this acquisition by Harris. Global now has access to the resources to expand our product offering and customer base. Their expertise in software, specifically the government market, will help us achieve our full potential."

As a result of the acquisition, Global Software Corporation and its software products are now part of the Harris portfolio of solutions. Global will operate as a business unit of Harris and will continue to sell, develop, enhance, support and service all solutions from their current offices in Oklahoma City, OK.
