The new website and online store emphasize a more graphic-heavy appearance, which research showed appeals to the Buggy World target market. Other features include ability to apply for financing, advertisement allotments and promotion of store sales and specials.
Bryan Britton, Vice President of San West, Inc. and General Manager of Buggy World, states, "While we are very successful with our brick and mortar stores, the new website is a great opportunity to further expand our reach. Much of our market base is in rural areas of the Western United States, with limited access to retail locations but a high demand for the products we sell.
Mr. Britton continues, "Also, in this economy we have seen a surge in part sales. While many of our customers use the website to window shop for larger purchases that we offer in our retail locations, our website is a convenient place to order parts and accessories. The off road industry has always been a bit old fashioned and our stores are long established and trusted in the market. But the younger generation coming into this market is interested in a stronger Internet presence and we feel this new website will give us an edge in a market that could be considered slow to change."
The new website also aims to connect the off road community with a photo gallery, local and regional events, off road location updates and a user forum for posting comments, questions or reviews.
