TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Sept. 30, 2009) - Constellation Software Inc. ("Constellation") (TSX:CSU) today announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Trapeze Software Inc. ("Trapeze"), has amended the purchase agreement for the acquisition of the Public Transit Solutions business of Continental Automotive AG ("Continental") first announced on September 1, 2009. The amendment extends the closing date to October 31, 2009 to provide more time to satisfy closing conditions.
