BROSSARD, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Oct. 16, 2009) - With reference to a press release dated October 5th, 2009, DIAGNOS inc. ("DIAGNOS" or "the Corporation") (TSX VENTURE:ADK), would like to re-iterate and clarify that the bilateral Memorandum of Understanding signed on October 1st, 2009 is between DIAGNOS Inc., and Carl Zeiss Canada Ltd, as stated in the press release.
With reference to the same press release, DIAGNOS would like to correct that Carl Zeiss Canada Ltd, is a Canadian legal entity wholly owned by Carl Zeiss AG engaged in the medical sales and service of Carl Zeiss Meditec medical and scientific equipment, and not a Canadian subsidiary of Carl Zeiss Meditec as previously communicated.
Under the terms of the Memorandum of Understanding between DIAGNOS and Carl Zeiss Canada Ltd, the two parties will work together to assure compatibility between DIAGNOS' Computer Assisted Retinal Analysis (CARA) technology and Zeiss' fundus camera and associated imaging software VisuPac, as well as jointly engage in pilot projects aimed at testing the integrated Carl Zeiss Canada Ltd, / DIAGNOS offering in the Canadian marketplace.
This update does not change any other terms to the underlying Memorandum of Understanding and any other information reported with respect to the relationship.
