iCo Therapeutics Closes Non-Brokered Private Placement

 VANCOUVER, July 16 /CNW/ - iCo Therapeutics Inc. (TSX-V: ICO) ("iCo" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has completed a non-brokered private placement in the amount of $475,000 through the issuance of 1,187,500 common shares in the capital of the Company at a subscription price of $0.40 per share. The Company intends to use the net proceeds for working capital and general corporate purposes. A finder's fee of 7% will be payable to certain arm's length third parties with respect to a portion of the private placement. All securities issued in the private placement are subject to a four month hold period. The private placement is subject to regulatory approval, including the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.
