IMRIS appoints Kelly McNeill as Chief Financial Officer

 WINNIPEG, Aug. 25 /CNW/ - (TSX:IM) - IMRIS Inc. (TSX: IM) ("IMRIS" or the "Company") today announced the appointment of Kelly McNeill as Executive Vice President, Finance and Administration and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. McNeill replaces Ron Sabourin who is retiring after serving as IMRIS's CFO since its founding in 2005. Mr. McNeill, a Chartered Accountant, brings a wealth of experience to IMRIS, having worked in the biotechnology and manufacturing industries as well as in both publicly traded and privately held companies. Most recently, Mr. McNeill held the position of Chief Financial Officer with Resverlogix Corp., a publicly traded biotechnology company. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta and holds a Masters of Accountancy and Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from the University of Manitoba. "With a strong financial background and significant experience in the biotech and manufacturing sectors, as well as expertise across all aspects of public company finance, Kelly is well suited to contribute to IMRIS's success going forward," said David Graves, President & CEO.
