Atlantis Systems Corp.: Atlantis Elects Five New Board Members to Its Board of Directors

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Aug. 26, 2009) - Atlantis Systems Corp. (TSX:AIQ) shareholders elected five new board members to its Board of Directors at its Annual General and Special meeting yesterday.

Thomas Ackert, Paul Bogin, Lt General (Ret'd) Lloyd C. Campbell, Williston Cofer and General (Ret'd) Normand Lezy were elected to the Board of Directors at Atlantis Systems Corp's Annual and Special Meeting, which was held in Toronto ON, on August 25th . The new directors join Lyell Farquharson, Mark Rivers, Henrik Noesgaard and David Williams who were previously Directors and stood for re-election.

"We are extremely pleased with the addition of Paul, Thomas, Lloyd, Williston and Normand to the Atlantis Board of Directors" said Mark Rivers, Chairman of the Board. "Lloyd has concluded a 37-year military career as Commander of the Canadian Air Force and served in numerous key positions in Canada and abroad. Williston served in the US Army and, more recently, was the Senior Professional Staff Member of the Committee on Armed Services, U.S House of Representatives and Staff Director of the Readiness Subcommittee which was responsible for $90 billion in appropriated funds. Normand's career with the US Air Force spanned 34 years and included a variety of senior level assignments at the Pentagon. Thomas and Paul bring extensive business experience including Thomas' position as Executive Director for the Orange county Convention Center, the 2nd largest convention and trade show facility in the US, and Paul was Chief Operating Officer with the Professional Golfers Association of America and was also an executive at IBM with experience in marketing, administration and operations".
