Angiotech';s licensee, Cook Medical, announces single-arm study reveals 86.2 percent SFA vessel patency for Zilver(R) PTX(TM)

 The single-arm study also revealed: - A low stent fracture rate of just 1.5 per cent - On average a greater than 50 per cent reduction in restenosis compared to published studies on bare-metal and other drug-eluting stents(2) - Improved clinical outcomes at 12 months according to all four key clinical indicators (ABI, Rutherford Score, walking speed and walking distance)
