HealthSpring to Webcast Its Investor Day on February 27, 2009

(NYSE:HS) today announced that it will conduct a live webcast of its Investor Day conference to be held in New York City on February 27, 2009. The meeting will be hosted by Herbert A. Fritch, chairman and chief executive officer of HealthSpring, and will feature presentations by the senior leadership of the Company regarding the current Medicare environment and ongoing and future strategic initiatives, primarily as they relate to the Company's medical management model. The Company also anticipates giving operational updates on several key areas of the business.
The webcast event is scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time (8:00 a.m. Central Standard Time) and conclude by 2:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (1:00 p.m. Central Standard Time).
