Aetna Announces Change to Second Quarter 2010 Results Release Date

HARTFORD, Conn.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Aetna (NYSE: AET) today announced that its second-quarter 2010 results now will be released to the public on Tuesday evening, July 27 at 8:30 p.m. Aetna will host its conference call as originally planned, at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 28.

This change is being made as a courtesy to investors, analysts and the media due to a conflict with a competitor that is also scheduled to release results at 6 a.m. on Wednesday, Aetnaa™s originally scheduled time.

The public may access the conference call through a live audio webcast available on Aetnaa™s Investor Information link on the Internet at [ www.aetna.com ]. Financial, statistical and other information, including GAAP reconciliations, related to the conference call also will be available on Aetnaa™s Investor Information web site.
