Implant Sciences Announces Force Protection Order Worth Over $200,000 to Customer in Europe

WILMINGTON, MA--(Marketwire - February 3, 2011) - Implant Sciences Corporation (PINKSHEETS: [ IMSC ]) (OTCQB: [ IMSC ]), a high technology supplier of systems and sensors for homeland security markets, today announced that it has received an order worth over $200,000 from a customer in Europe for its Quantum Sniffer™ QS-H150 explosives trace detector. The systems, which have already been shipped, will be used in counter-IED (Improvised Explosives Devices) operations. IEDs, also known as homemade bombs, are used in non-conventional warfare and terrorism.
