

Magellan Health Services Joins with Share Our Strength to End Childhood Hunger in America
AVON, Conn.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Magellan Health Services (NASDAQ: MGLN) and its nearly 5,000 employees nationwide are joining forces with Share Our Strength to make sure every child in America gets the healthy food they need to thrive. Magellan announced it has become an official sponsor of the Florida Partnership to End Childhood Hunger, an initiative of Florida Impact and Share Our Strength. The Florida Partnership, part of Share Our Strengthas national No Kid Hungry campaign, serves as an anchor around which more than 50 organizations are committed to working collaboratively to make Florida the first state in the nation to end childhood hunger. Magellan will also support Share Our Strength in a number of other initiatives such as the No Kid Hungry Pledge and the Great American Bake Sale to further the organizationas mission.

Baking for a Cause
Magellan will also join The Great American Bake Sale, Share Our Strengthas national event that has raised more than $6 million to support childhood hunger issues. Throughout the fall, Magellan will mobilize their employees and partners to host community bake sales in Connecticut, Florida, Iowa, Maryland, Missouri, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Virginia, with all proceeds supporting Share Our Strength. In addition, many of Magellanas office locations will participate by hosting internal bake sales to also benefit Share Our Strength.
