This move is part of a broader effort to streamline operations and improve efficiency within the department. The restructuring includes the creation of a new Office of the Commissioner, which will oversee various functions previously managed by other divisions. Additionally, the department is establishing a new Office of the Chief Financial Officer to centralize financial operations. These changes aim to enhance service delivery and better align the department's resources with its mission. The affected employees will have the opportunity to apply for other positions within the department.
