The Fit and Fun Center, a popular family entertainment and fitness facility in Wilmington, North Carolina, announced it will permanently close at the end of June 2025. The decision to shut down was attributed to financial difficulties exacerbated by the economic impact of the recent global health crisis. The center, which opened in 2010, offered a variety of activities including trampolining, rock climbing, and fitness classes. Management expressed gratitude to the community for their support over the years and encouraged patrons to visit during the final weeks to say goodbye.
