CARLSBAD, Calif.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--GenMark Diagnostics, Inc. (NASDAQ:GNMK) today announced that Life Technologies Corporation and Applied Biosystems LLC dismissed their patent infringement lawsuit against GenMark filed November 19, 2010 in the Southern District of California. The suit alleged that GenMark infringes U.S. Patent No. 6,514,699 entitled "Multiplex Polynucleotide Capture Methods and Compositions." The suit was dismissed before GenMark filed any responsive pleadings.
