LEXINGTON, Mass.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--[ Cubist Pharmaceuticals, Inc. ] (NASDAQ: CBST) today announced that it is a" for the second year in a row a" teaming up with the New England Patriots Radio Network, 98.5 The Sports Hub, and its 36-station radio network throughout New England, during the 2010 New England Patriots season to recognize innovative science teachers in middle schools and high schools throughout New England.

Throughout the season, Cubist and the New England Patriots Radio Network will recognize science teachers leading the way in the classroom. Each week, during the New England Patriots season, a teacher will be selected as the Cubist Pharmaceuticals aTeacher of the Weeka� and announced during the New England Patriots radio broadcast. Each teacher selected will be qualified to be recognized as the recipient of the Cubist Pharmaceuticals Science Education Leadership Award. The grand prize winning teacher will have a special meet and greet with Patriots broadcasters at the CBS Scene in Foxboro at the last home game of the 2010 season on January 2. Cubist will also present a $500 check to the winning teachera�s school science program.
