Massport Installs ZOLL AED Plus Automated External Defibrillators in Agency-Wide Initiative to Improve Survival from Sudden Car
CHELMSFORD, MASS.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--ZOLL® Medical Corporation (Nasdaq GS: ZOLL), a manufacturer of medical devices and related software solutions, announced today that the Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport) is installing ZOLL [ AED Plus® ] with [ Real CPR Help® ] throughout its three airportsa"Boston Logan International, Hanscom Field, and Worcester Regionala" and the maritime facilities it owns and operates in the Port of Boston.

The contract, awarded to ZOLL distributor Life Support Systems of Dedham, Mass., is for the installation and service of 145 AED Plus units. The installation of the ZOLL AED Plus devices is part of a safety policy initiative to make automated external defibrillators (AEDs) more accessible to travelers and Massport employees when sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) occurs.
