SuperGen Announces Presentation of SGI-110 Preclinical Data at American Society of Hematology

DUBLIN, Calif.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--SuperGen, Inc. (NASDAQ:SUPG) today announced that a summary of preclinical efficacy, safety, and pharmacokinetics data of SGI-110 will be presented at the American Society of Hematology in Orlando on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 5:30 pm ET. The title of the poster presentation will be aSGI-110, a novel second generation potent DNA methylation inhibitor, in development for the treatment of MDS and AML. Preclinical Safety, Pharmacokinetics, and DNA methylation results of a low volume subcutaneous (SC) formulation.a

SGI-110 has received clearance from the Food and Drug Administration to advance into Phase I trials. The clinical trial has been initiated at MD Anderson Cancer Center and other centers are being initiated.
