SACRAMENTO, Calif.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Aetna (NYSE: [ AET ]) and Sutter Health today announced that they have reached agreement on a two-year contract renewal maintaining network access for Aetna members in Northern California.
"We were able to come to terms on a new agreement that preserves access for our members in Northern California without disruption."
With this agreement, members of Aetna commercial plans can receive covered benefits, at in-network rates, from Sutter Health hospitals and ancillary facilities.
The contract also keeps the physicians and health care providers at the Sutter facilities as participating network providers.
