NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - Jan 18, 2012) - Comprehensive Care, Corp. (
National health care spending grew for the second consecutive year in 2010 to $2.6 trillion, bringing it in line with growth in the U.S. economy, the Department of Health and Human Services reported this month. As health plans have been incurring new compliance and regulatory costs related to the health care reform law, there could be more need for management services for the managed care providers.
Medicare spending grew 5 percent in 2010. One of the factors for the growth was that health laws required the federal government to decrease payments to Medicare Advantage plans. The health law aims to equalize what the federal government pays for beneficiaries in both programs. This could also benefit Comprehensive Cares position.
