Corcept Therapeutics Announces Pricing of $15 Million Underwritten Public Offering of Common Stock

MENLO PARK, CA--(Marketwire - June 25, 2010) - Corcept Therapeutics Incorporated ("Corcept") (NASDAQ: [ CORT ]), a pharmaceutical company engaged in the discovery and development of drugs for the treatment of severe metabolic and psychiatric disorders, today announced the pricing of an underwritten public offering of 5,000,000 shares of its common stock at a price to the public of $3.00 per share. All of the shares in the offering are being sold by Corcept. Corcept anticipates aggregate net proceeds from the offering to be approximately $13.8 million. The offering is expected to close on or about June 30, 2010, subject to customary closing conditions.

The shares will be issued pursuant to a shelf registration statement on Form S-3 previously filed with and declared effective by the Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC"). Corcept will also file with the SEC a prospectus supplement with respect to the offering. Thomas Weisel Partners LLC is acting as the sole underwriter for the offering.

Corcept intends to use the net proceeds from the offering to fund research and development activities, including clinical trials, to fund working capital and for general corporate purposes.
