Amica Mature Lifestyles Completes $24.8 Million Bought Deal Financing

Amica Mature Lifestyles Inc. (TSX:ACC) ("Amica" or the "Company") announced today that it has completed its previously announced public offering of common shares of the Company by way of short form prospectus (the "Offering"). Under the Offering, Amica issued 2,750,000 common shares at a price of $9.00 per common share for aggregate gross proceeds of approximately $24.8 million. Amica has also granted the Underwriters an option to purchase up to an additional 412,500 common shares, on the same terms and conditions as the Offering, exercisable for a period of 30 days following the closing of the Offering. In the event that the over-allotment option is exercised in full, the aggregate gross proceeds of the Offering will be approximately $28.5 million.
The syndicate of underwriters for the Offering was led by Canaccord Genuity Corp. and included National Bank Financial Inc., CIBC World Markets Inc., GMP Securities L.P., BMO Nesbitt Burns Inc., Raymond James Ltd. and TD Securities Inc. (the "Underwriters").
The Company intends to use the net proceeds from the Offering to fund the acquisition of an additional 73.5% interest in Amica at Westboro Park, as well as for equity and development costs for properties currently in pre-development and potential future acquisitions of additional ownership interests (if any) and for general corporate and working capital purposes.
