According to a report by The Athletic, the Steelers believe they have found their perfect quarterback fit in either Kenny Pickett or Mitch Trubisky, and they are not willing to give up the significant assets required to acquire Rodgers. The Steelers' decision to pass on Rodgers is seen as a vote of confidence in their current quarterback situation, with Pickett, a first-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, expected to compete with Trubisky for the starting job in the upcoming season.
