Bay Athletic Club to relocate
After 20 years of calling MyMichigan Medical Center Alpena home, the Bay Athletic Club will be relocating. The announcement was made on Facebook by club owner Trina Gray. The popular fitness club will be moving into the former bank located at 200 W.
The Bay Athletic Club, a long-standing fitness center in Alpena, Michigan, is set to relocate to a new, larger facility on M-32 West near the Thunder Bay River. The move, announced on November 11, 2024, aims to accommodate the growing membership and offer expanded services. The new location will feature state-of-the-art equipment, additional fitness classes, a larger pool, and wellness programs. The current facility will remain operational until the new site is ready, expected to be in early 2025. The relocation has been met with enthusiasm from members and local residents, who see it as a positive development for the community's health and fitness landscape.
